Parent Mentoring

We’re here for you.

75% of clients who visit our Lifeline Women’s Resource Center for services are already parenting at least one child. We know that many mothers and fathers facing pregnancy will choose parenting as the best option for them and their baby. Therefore, we have developed a mentoring program to support parents and those planning to parent.

Parent Mentoring FAQs

Parent Mentoring is a program at Lifeline Women’s Resource Center through which parents and parents-to-be are matched with a mentor to talk through various components of life that impact parenting. Some of the topics include budgeting, healthy relationships, community, and more.

Parent Mentoring is an excellent way to expand your network of support and have someone you know who cares about you and your family. Being a parent is a huge job, and it can be even more difficult if a parent feels isolated and alone. Parent Mentoring can help bring a sense of community and encouragement for those who sign up for the program.

Mentors come from local partner churches who work with our pregnancy center. They are trained and have completed background checks to ensure they meet requirements to engage with our parents from the Lifeline Women’s Resource Center.

No, you do not have to be part of the Parent Mentoring program to come to the center. If you need to come to the center for medical services or for our care closet services, you can continue to do so without being part of the program. To learn more about the program contact our center today.
